Whitmore has been on the teaching faculty of numerous schools across the country. He has also been invited as a guest teacher/lecturer at Stanford University, University of AlabamaEdinburgh Dance Festival, Dance Outreach, Cape Academy of Performing Arts, and the ZAMA Dance School in Cape Town, South Africa.
